Refund/Deposit Policy
Little Livestock Lane Reservation & Refund Policy (Mini Livestock)
At Little Livestock Lane, every reservation is handled with care, clarity, and transparency to support the responsible placement of our miniature animals—including miniature cattle, mini donkeys, and mini horses. Because each animal is prepared individually and held exclusively for a buyer once reserved, our deposit and refund terms are designed to protect both the animals and the reservation process.
Reservation Deposits
A reservation deposit is required to secure any miniature animal.
- Deposits confirm serious intent and allow us to begin preparation for pickup or delivery.
- Once a deposit is received, the selected animal is removed from public availability and reserved for you exclusively.
- Deposits are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Deposits may be applied toward the total purchase price.
- Reservation holds begin only after payment confirmation.
This policy helps prevent unnecessary disruption and stress for the animals caused by repeated holds or cancellations.
Refund Eligibility
Because livestock are living animals with health, handling, and timing considerations, full refunds are not typically offered for changes of mind, personal circumstances, or delays not caused by Little Livestock Lane. That said, we aim to be honest and reasonable in our communication.
Refunds or adjustments may be considered if:
- Little Livestock Lane determines the animal is no longer suitable for placement prior to pickup/delivery.
- Health concerns arise before departure that prevent a safe transition.
- A mutually agreed alternative arrangement is made (for example, rescheduling, replacement, or other approved options).
If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Buyer Responsibility & Preparation
We encourage buyers to confirm that they have appropriate resources in place before submitting a reservation, including:
- space and fencing/containment suitability
- safe, appropriate feeding and care planning
- transportation plans (if applicable)
- any necessary training, shelter, or handling readiness (as relevant to the species)
Once an animal is reserved, preparation begins immediately, which may include health monitoring and scheduling for transport or pickup.
Timelines & Reservation Hold
- If payment is not completed or pickup/delivery is not arranged within the agreed timeframe, the reservation may be canceled and the deposit may be forfeited according to the reservation terms.
Communication & Policy Transparency
Clear expectations help create a positive experience for both new and experienced owners.
If you have questions about deposits, payment timelines, refund eligibility, or what to expect next, please contact Little Livestock Lane before submitting your reservation so we can provide accurate guidance based on the specific animal and situation.
